Almost exactly ten years ago, mini braids were the most popular hairstyle trend on the red carpet. Blake Lively wore them, as did Kristen Stewart, Vanessa Hudgens, Ciara, and Nikki Reed, just to name a few of the celebrities. And we imitated them directly, even if we didn't appear on the red carpets of this world. The hairstyle trend also worked at home, on special occasions, but also as a cool beach look.

In 2022 braids seem to be making a comeback, especially those mini braids that frame the face. Anyone who takes a look at the current snapshots of the Coachella festival will definitely agree with us. We are also pretty sure that we will be braiding our mini braids again this summer - whether for the festival or the beach - because there is hardly a simpler braided hairstyle.
And this is how it works: Part your hair in the middle and separate the two front strands of hair. You braid each of them into a braid. A transparent hair tie fixes the hairstyle trend, done.
