Our dream of thick hair and volume could soon become a reality because these six haircuts and hairstyles will conjure up a beautiful lion's mane in no time at all...
A voluminous lion's mane like actress Zendaya? It works with these hairstyles!
While trendy haircuts and hair colors come and go, there is one particular hairstyle that is craved for all year round: the best for thin hair. Our dream of thick hair and more volume is timeless - and it could soon become a reality. We asked hairdressers and hair experts and picked out the six most beautiful hairstyles that conjure up a true voluminous splendor from every thin strand.
Fortunately, the hairdressing salons are open again, because thin hair benefits a lot from regular cuts to get rid of split ends and brittle ends. Darren Fowler, the Kérastase expert, recommends cutting a few millimeters per visit every six weeks. With that in mind, Fowler is a huge fan of the Blunt Bob. With its blunt, angular cut, it gives the hair more fullness.
The safest way for more volume in your hair: levels, levels, levels! "Combining layers with a bob or long bob is a particularly beneficial hairstyle for thin hair as it adds volume and removes brittle, broken tips that are thinning hair," recommends Schwarzkopf UK Ambassador Suzie McGill.
If you want to try a true hair transformation, then you should give a sassy pixie cut a try. According to McGill, it is the best hairstyle for fine hair because the thin lengths fall away and our head of hair can breathe a sigh of relief. Pixie cuts can also be cut very textured and effortlessly styled for more volume if desired.

If you just want a little change, Suzie McGill recommends the trendy curtain bangs. "These types of bangs help frame the face perfectly and give it more dimension - it draws attention to the fringed front part instead of the rest of the hair."
Possibly the most popular and most wanted hairstyle in 2021 is the shag - and therefore also the safest choice to give fine hair more pizzazz. Darren Fowler loved to conjure up a shag especially for those with thin curls because the look gave the mane a soft, feminine look that also looked super cool and modern.
When things have to be done quickly and you want to visually add volume for a short time, the ponytail is the best method. McGill advises light waves with a curling iron and texturizing spray before tying it up to add volume. Volume spray at the roots and light teasing can also provide more fullness in the ponytail.
