The young users are convinced that no one can look better with a side parting than with a middle part and tried to prove this under the hashtag #middlepartchallenge. So far we have been convinced that the center parting can be a good choice for everyone, as it flatters all face shapes and hair structures. But actually, there is a shape in which a side parting does not come into its own.
You should keep this in mind when parting the side
First of all, it should be said that a side parting should not just be pulled like that. According to star stylist Jazmine Harris, the hairstyle should already be tailored to this so that the hair can fall optimally.
In principle, the following also applies: The choice of parting can influence the entire look. While side parting often looks more playful, middle parting creates a classically chic look.
But now to the face shapes: In fact, in our opinion, side partings look great on oval, square and diamond-shaped faces. The face shape, in which you should rather refrain from a typical side parting, is round. A center parting is best for a round face, as it does not create any additional volume around the cheeks and chin areas and thus makes the face look longer. If you don't want to do without a side parting, a very deep side parting also works as an alternative. If you want to create more length on the face, you should try creating volume on the top of the head.
