The most beautiful bob hairstyles
When it comes to bob hairstyles, our beauty heart jumps a little higher. For us Cosmo girls, there is no hairstyle that suits as many girls and women as the bob. And so the trend hairstyle is of course also worn in different versions in the editorial office. Which is there any way? Here is the overview:
Over the past few years, we've seen many trending versions of the bob. In addition to the long bob and the chin-long bob, the pob (the bob with bangs) was a huge trend in 2019. This year, it is above all the short bob that we can admire on many famous heads.

It usually doesn't matter what hair structure you have. Whether thin or thick, frizzy or straight hair - there is the perfect version for every type. However, there are a few things to consider:
Thin hair: Your bob shouldn't rest directly on your shoulders. This is how your sensitive hair breaks off much faster. Opt for a variant that is shorter or that extends to the collarbone, such as the short bob or the long bob. A stepped cut can also provide more volume like with the shaggy bob.
Thick hair: With your hair structure, you can try any bob hairstyle. Do you want to take the weight off your hair? Then try a super straight long bob. It hangs out faster and lies close to the head.
Curls: Are you blessed with a head of curls? Great! Then you have the perfect structure for the Wavy Bob or the Tob. With a side parting and a few gentle steps in the lengths, the bob looks perfect for you.
Frizzy hair: Do you want to live out your natural frizzy? Then you can try the Tob too. A diffuser can help you get the waves under control while blow-drying. If you prefer to blow-dry your natural frizz, you should stick to the long bob with a straight clavi cut - the long hair is easier to blow-dry and brush.
Depending on the length of your bob hairstyle, you have between 4 and 12 weeks until you have to stop by your hairdresser for recutting so that your bob remains a bob. The further you let it grow out, the more your look changes.
Oval faces can wear just about any bob hairstyle wonderfully. Heart-shaped faces should just do without a pony, while round faces are welcome to add a few tiers. Only women with angular facial features need to be careful. You shouldn't go for the overly short cuts that accentuate the corners even more. Ultimately, you have to like the cut. In our overview, we give you little tips on which cut fits which face shape.
The invention of the bob hairstyle goes back thousands of years. 51 BC Christ was Cleopatra the first to give the trendy hairstyle a chance. At that time she wore a very short version with straight bangs. Long after her, the grand dames got a taste for the fashion industry. Coco Chanel wore it, as did Victoria Beckham (at that time still classic: short back and long front)
Do you want to wear a wavy bob? No problem. Here we'll show you how to do light curls with a straightening iron. And here you learn how the trendy beach waves work. Have fun re-styling!
