The fascination of sandy beaches, deserts, and dunes lies primarily in the alternation of light and shadow. Because the finely ground crystals and minerals reflect the sun's rays and cover the matt beige and brown of the surface with a sparkle that is difficult to escape. New eyeshadow textures try to imitate this alternation of shimmering and matt components and combine different pigments. On the eyelid, the eyeshadows should then merge into iridescent effects and - depending on the make-up method - look completely natural or spectacular. For the make-up trend like with Isabel Marant or Elie Saab, gently spread the eyeshadow onto the upper eyelid with a soft brush or the tip of the ring finger, use a slightly darker shade towards the temple and a lighter shade towards the inner corner of the eye. Variant: For Valentino, a brown eyeshadow was supplemented with eyeliner in light, shimmering sand. Opens the eye and makes the eye area look particularly fresh and radiant.
Tip: Eye shadows in sand tones are particularly effective when the rest of the make-up is reduced and also kept in natural tones. The nuances of the eyeshadow always match the individual skin type and tan level and combine with light bronzers or blushes as well as brown or black mascara and a little lip gloss.
