Baby Hair... Sounds cute, but it's damn annoying, at least if you have it as an adult and want to conjure up a nice hairstyle. In terms of styling, you can do this with the fine hairs around the hairline!
Stars like Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Rihanna, FKA Twigs, Zoe Kravitz, Jennifer Lopez, even supermodel Gisele Bundchen all have it: baby hair. The fine, short hairs that like to buzz around at the base are simply part of many people. They can be a result of too much heat or rough handling when styling - fine hair, in particular, can break easily. However, they can also simply be new hairs that grow after the previous ones have fallen out due to age. The regrowth of the new hair is of course more noticeable at the hairline than on the rest of the head. But what to do when that baby hair is just annoyingly sticking out and flying around? Cut off or shave? Oh no!
Because there are so many prominent baby hair representatives, we can learn from them perfectly how the fluff on the head can be integrated into the hairstyling in a cool way. Here come the great hairstyle ideas!
Do the protruding hairs on the hairline annoy you a lot? Then do it like Kim Kardashian: simply integrate it into your hairstyle. This works best in combination with a ponytail that is combed backward, as this is where you can put your hair perfectly. Insider tip: buy a cheap toothbrush and use it as a styling tool! Just put a bit of hairspray on them and use it to comb back the fine hairs. You can no longer see them!
Rihanna's baby hair is combed straight onto the head here and is no longer as noticeable.
If your baby hair is a bit more unruly and just sticks out silly, even if you comb it back with proper fixation, then you can also do like Rihanna: Comb the hairs in the opposite direction, i.e. down to the head. Again, hairspray or gel can help tame the short hair and keep it in place.
If you don't find the short hairs annoying at all, but rather cute, then of course there's nothing wrong with simply showing them off. Jennifer Lopez does it extravagantly with the above hairstyle: she wears it swept over her face and almost "taped on." Definitely a different form of wet hair look!
Kylie Jenner's styling variant isn't quite as blatant, but just as much a celebration of baby hair:
Baby hair just looks sugary with a cute bun!You see: Instead of getting annoyed about baby hair, you can simply make it disappear with the right styling. Or you just stand by it, because hey: In most cases, they don't look that stupid. In any case, they complete the casual out-of-bed look brilliantly!
