The hairstyle trend of the 90s was shaped by childhood idols such as Britneys Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Emma Bunton (Baby Spice from the Spice Girls), as well as the Japanese manga Sailor Moon. Back then, the look was supposed to be innocent and cute. The hairstyle trend has now been reinterpreted and is sometimes glamorous (J.Lo), sporty styled like Kendall Jenner's, or casual with gentle beach waves (Hailey Bieber). Not 90s enough yet? Hairstyle trend pigtails: this is how the girlish retro braids can be re-styled

You don't need an XXL mane for the pigtails. The hair should be at least shoulder length, so they also go well with the long bob. The hair structure is irrelevant because the pigtails are suitable for both straight and wavy hair. This is how the hairstyle trend succeeds in a few minutes, without any practice:

First, spray a nourishing leave-in conditioner into your hair. This makes the hair combable, silky, and shiny.
Then brush your hair carefully.
Now pull a middle part and part the hair at the back of your head.
Then tie the hair with two hair ties high up or slightly offset to the side on the top of the head.
Depending on the look you want, you can now lay the individual braids in waves with a curling iron, straighten them or gently tous them with your fingers.
Individual hairs on the back of the head can be fixed with a little hairspray and small bobby pins.
Finally, apply a touch of hairspray all over your hair - the pigtails are ready!
