When you have long hair, you don't care! We are not necessarily of that opinion. While having long hair is fun, it pretty much always stays the same. It takes a bit of work and creativity to keep an original look and stand out. That's right, in the end, ponytails, updos, and braids are still pretty basic. Nothing very crazy.
But we also know how difficult and time-consuming it can be to style long hair. What to have a cramp in the arms. That's why we found original hairstyles for you that are quite easy to achieve for your long hair!
The rope braid
This is no ordinary braid. Moreover, it is much easier to make but also chicer and more original!
How to do it?
Part in the side if you don't already have one and group your hair on the side where you want to make your braid;
Take the first strand from the side where there is the most hair;
Pull this wick well, divide it in two and cross the two parts of the wick;
Add a new small section of the front before crossing them again;
Repeat until you reach ear level while making sure the strands stay pulled out;
Once at ear level, continue the same manipulation but this time taking strands from behind (the goal being to have all the strands grouped together once at shoulder level);
At this point, you should only have two wicks left. Roll them up on themselves then cross them;
Tie off the braid when finished;
To give volume and finalize your rope braid, you can pull on the strands at the level of the braiding as much as you want.
DOUBLE TWIST
Whether you are sporty, carefree, and lazy, you should try this variation of the ponytail! The double twist hairstyle is quick to do while still being classy and neat.
How to do it?
Take all the wicks located above the ears;
Bring them back to create a ponytail;
Tie the ponytail with a rubber band without over-tightening;
Create a hole above the elastic and pass the ponytail inside;
Loosely fix the upper part with a rubber band;
Create a hole above the elastic loop and ponytail through the hole;
Take all of your hair and tie it again with a rubber band;
Pass this second ponytail through the hole created previously;
Tighten the two ponytails to tighten the curls;
Finally, pinch the two folds of the top loops and secure them from the inside with pliers;
Faux Square Bob
Have you always dreamed of having your hair squared but you are also afraid of taking the plunge? We suggest you hide your lengths and create a faux bob in minutes!
How to do it?
Gather the strands above the ears and secure them with pliers for later;
Divide the lower part of your hair in half and braid it;
Make a low bun with these two braids and tie it with clips;
Detach the upper part of the hair and back it back strand by strand. If you have shorter strands in the front, keep them in the front.
Secure with hairspray;
Tie the strands going towards the back in a low ponytail;
Wrap the ponytail inward and secure it roughly with hair clips;
Fold the remaining strands towards the side of your choice to create a side fringe effect;
Secure the longer strands with pliers and adjust by gently pulling the strands of your bob to make it even.
