Her long blond hair has an obvious purple shimmer. In the caption for the said video, Britney Spears also revealed how the new hair color came about: "Here I am with purple hair. I'm bored, okay? Very boring so my nail artist told me to do it. I did it but I'm not sure I like it."
While Britney Spears herself does not seem to be completely convinced of her purple hair color, her fans on Instagram are celebrating the new trend hairstyle frenetically. "I love the purple" and "Purple Queen" is what it says, among other things.
