Back to the short hairstyle! The actress has returned to her beloved short hairstyle, this time with a big twist...
Halle Berry is now sporting a blonde pixie with an undercut
For Halle Berry, awards season directly means a new hairstyle. At the 2021 People's Choice Awards in December, the actress paid homage to the early '80s with side-swept bangs and a tousled updo. Now almost three months later, the actress is back with a completely different hairstyle for the 2022 Critics Choice Awards, which took place on March 13.
The actress' new hairstyle is a mix of pixie and undercut. The hair is dyed blond in the upper layers but fades to a dark brown at the roots. Berry's regular hairstylist Sara Seward is behind the new haircut, which the actress shared on Instagram. The image she used shows her with her Critics' Choice "See Her" award, which honors women who work for gender equality and empowerment.
Instagram: @halleberry"Our voice is the most powerful tool we have and it is imperative that we stand up and use it," she shared on her Instagram post: "To all people who have felt humiliated, misunderstood, excluded and disadvantaged now is the time for all of us to stand up, stand together and make our voices heard."

Of course, Berry has long been a pixie cut fan. The actress sported a different take on the short haircut in the '90s but has played with length more in recent decades. After a long break, she returned to the short haircut in 2016, at that time with longer, face-framing layers. Halle Berry is now back with an extremely short haircut that looks cool and modern.
From the side: Long, blonde strands cover the dark undercut. We love that the actress is returning to the hairstyle she knows best - but with an edgier twist. Berry looks gorgeous in pretty much any hairstyle, but there's just something magical about her short hair.
