The singer is launching a new hairstyle trend on Instagram. Shy'm shared a snapshot of her with an ancestral Algerian accessory.
In addition to her new life as a mom, Shy'm always finds time to do beautiful things. On January 31, the singer participated in an event in favor of the Princess Margot association, an organization supporting children with cancer. As usual, Shy'm had not done things by halves and was well prepared.
For the occasion, the star wore a white corduroy tuxedo. The look was bright, yet what caught the eye the most was her hairstyle! Always very daring, Shy'm wore a white ribbon the entire length of her hair to tie them together in a low ponytail. An original hairstyle… but far from recent! This fabric is actually inspired by kardoune, a red and orange ribbon, which is found mainly in the Maghreb.
Originally from Algeria, the kardoune is a ribbon that women usually use to straighten their hair without heat. After washing their hair, they wring out the lengths, brush them and tie them in a ponytail using the kardoune. The next morning, the magic happens: by removing the ribbon, the hair is naturally straightened.
Shy'm multiplies the successes, and this, whatever the field! While she first became known for her singing talents in 2006, the young woman then proved on television that she was just as good at dancing. In 2011, Shy'm won the second season of the show Danse Avec Les Stars on TF1 with his partner Maxime Dereymez. Passionate about fashion, she has been able to make people talk about her on several occasions, in particular thanks to the daring and extravagant outfits that she wears on the red carpets. Finally, today, the muse of the cosmetics brand Pin Up Secret proves that she also has a place in the world of beauty. Shy'm is not afraid to launch and adopt the hairstyle trends of tomorrow, whether you like it or not!
