Beach waves have been a hairstyle trend for a long time and of course, they are back in fashion this year. However, it's not always easy to style the shallow waves - and ideally, they should last longer than an hour. We know the struggle all too well. But it is now a thing of the past because there is a new technology on the market that gives soft waves - semi-permanently. In fact, it is much less damaging to the hair than the classic perm. In addition, the waves are much shallower and more modern. Curtain up on NuWave!
Thanks to NuWave from Goldwell, light waves can now be created without any heat - in such a way that they last for up to three months! Whether you want them to look more voluminous or casual and undone is entirely up to you. But how is that supposed to work?
Goldwell has developed completely new tools and care products for the method, which ensure that the hair is gently curled and also feels really good. The whole thing works in a few steps:
A preparatory cream is applied to wet hair, which gently starts the shape-changing process. To do this, she opens a minimal number of bridges in the strands, which are responsible for the structure. Protective care is added to damaged or bleached hair.
After about ten to twenty minutes, the cream is rinsed out and the hair is then rolled in with a special winding tool (no classic curlers).
Now the shaping lotion is applied to the twisted hair, which activates the open bridges and creates the desired shape in a controlled manner.
After about 15 minutes of exposure time, a replenishing serum is added, which cares for the hair by rebuilding the integrity of the hair structure and enriching the strands with keratin, amino acids, and panthenol.
A fluid closes the bridges again and seals the shafts for up to three months.
After ten minutes, the curlers are removed, the hair is rinsed out, cared for with the system hydrated, and then rinsed out again.
The shallow waves already sit perfectly - without a curling iron or other heat treatments. And that for many weeks!
