An updo is usually time-consuming, complicated, and cannot be done without outside help? Then you've never tried this favorite French hairstyle.
The easiest updoA beautiful updo doesn't always require a hundred bobby pins, tons of hairspray, and skillful hands. The French women’s favorite hairstyle succeeds in just a few simple steps and looks simply adorable. Whatever the occasion, this hairstyle is always a good choice.
The popular hairstyle is the so-called chignon. The hairstyle favorite is a bun that sits on the neck and looks less than it is.

For the chignon, a strand is left free next to the forehead on the right and left. The remaining hair is tied in a braid that sits on the neck. Now a small hole is exposed over the hair tie, through which the braid is then pulled through. That alone looks like a great hairstyle for those who have very little time.
Then the two free strands are pulled back and tied into a braid. This then, like the other, goes into the hole above the hair tie. The braid is tied again about five centimeters above the ends of the hair and pulled through again. The rest of the hair now only has to be tucked away with a few hair clips et voilà... the elaborate-looking updo is ready.
