If you fancy a new haircut, you don't have to search long before you come across the hairstyle trend of the summer. To do this, the TikTok app only needs to be opened briefly. Because one hairstyle is particularly popular among geneticists and beauty fans at the moment: the wolf cut.

Most of us - whether hard-working TikTokers or not - already know the hairstyle trend. Not under his name, however. Because the Wolf Cut is actually a mixture of two trendy cuts that are currently everywhere: the mullet and the shag.
The hairstyle is a light mullet with many wavy layers. They give the hair a somewhat wild look - hence the name "Wolf Cut". Distinguishing marks are a lot of volume on the head and thinned strands at the bottom.
The volume is provided by curtain bangs and short steps, which, however, only reach to the chin with long hair. If you want to wear the hairstyle trend a bit shallower, you can do without really short layers à la mullet and stick with soft layers that are wavy in order to create enough volume.
Contrary to what you might think, the cut is not just for long, straight hair. Even those with short curls can rock the TikTok trend.
The just thing to keep in mind with the hairstyle trend is that it needs some styling - even if it should look wild and messy. Straight hair often needs to be styled with a curling iron to even accentuate the cool layers. And even with curls, you have to help with a texture spray and hairspray so that the strands are right.
