Styling starts with damp hair:

Divide the towel-dried hair into individual sections and blow-dry one after the other with a round brush. This gives you volume at the roots and the perfectly straight lengths don't hang flat on your head.
Then the heat protection comes into play: Distribute generously in the hair as a spray and comb it in loosely.
Now you reach for the straightening iron: section off the hair on the top of your head and pin it away. Start with the underlying hair and straighten strand by strand. Loosen the top hair and also smooth it neatly.
In the last step, some wax or styling cream is massaged into the hair surfaces and gently stroked over the top hair. That tames flying hairs.
