Here's how you can recreate the "fake" short haircut...
Have you always wanted to know whether a bob suits you, but don't want to part with your long hair permanently? Actress Zendaya is now demonstrating how this wish can be fulfilled with a very simple hair trick.
Many of us would like to have a bob hairstyle, but parting our beloved long hair is complex. That's certainly how Zendaya felt. But the actress found a nifty solution to this problem: With a styling trick — and the help of her stylist — she transformed her long hair into a chin-length bob.
We really had to look twice when we saw Zendaya on the red carpet at the HBO Max FYC Euphoria event on April 20, 2022. The actress showed up with significantly shorter hair than in her last public appearances. Viewed from the front, it seemed at first as if her long hair had fallen victim to the scissors. But on closer inspection, we're pretty sure that Zendaya's short haircut is "just" a fake bob.

Zendaya is already a fan of the fake bob and often makes use of the practical hairstyling trick: she already wore the hairstyle on November 29, 2021, on the red carpet of the "Ballon d'Or" awards in Paris. This evening, Zendaya wore a floor-length, black dress with a sophisticated back and a "fake" bob! So we could get used to the short haircut on the actress.

Zendaya only had her long hair pinned at the back of her head to simulate the bob. Her stylist Antoinette Hill explains on Instagram: "We went for a hidden fake bob effect to complement and accentuate this form-fitting dress with an open back and a gold spine." This is quite successful and the hairstyle has become a real eye-catcher. We are already looking forward to the next “wrong” bob.
