The last fashion shows have proven: The transition pony is (probably a bit of necessity) in trend. We show you tips and tricks on how styling is guaranteed to work without stress and bobby pins.
Let's not kid ourselves: it is not always easy to grow a relatively thick bang, especially if it has an intermediate length where it reaches the eyebrows but is still far from the length of the nose or cheekbones which will be absolutely trendy this year. Luck in misfortune here: Just as shoulder-length transitional manes became the (super) trend haircut, so do transitional ponies now.
Bushy, slowly growing fringes will become a trend all of their own in the coming months, as we have already seen in the "Resort 2022" show by Chanel and the Fall / Winter 2021/2022 show by Saint Laurent. The transition fringes, which are neither too long nor cover the face like a curtain, are particularly popular. And the best thing about it: With a few tricks you can not only let the fringes grow out stress-free but also create real trendy hairstyles with them.
If your bushy bangs have grown past the length of your eyebrows, there are two things you can do. If you have hair that is easy to style, you can gently blow dry it to the sides while it is wet with your fingers or a round brush. However, if you have a lot of bangs, straight hair, or tight, straight bangs, it may be helpful to ask your hairdresser to take some weight off the center of your pony to help it open up to the sides. In a way, it's about "breaking" the bangs in the middle so that they open up better and blend into the hair more easily.
If the bangs have already grown to your eyes or beyond, placing them on the side of your face that you are most comfortable with and blending them into the rest of your hair there is a good option. Experiments and changes of perspective are expressly allowed here so that your medium-length bangs can also become the real focus of your look.
