The curly pony is emerging as a new hairstyle trend - also in a shortened form, as here with Marco Rambaldi (autumn/winter 2020/21)
In the case of pony hairstyles, the following has always been the case: only those who naturally have straight hair or who are willing to fringe the forehead on a daily basis are suitable for a look with bangs. Taylor Swift, above all, refutes these requirements. With a hairstyle that is just as much a topic of discussion as the fact that the singer released two albums in 2020 while most of us lingered in corona shock.

Hairstyles are always there to help you reinvent yourself. So why shouldn't you just push the boundaries of what is apparently possible and - in this case - wear a curly pony? After all, it is long overdue that fans of bangs who are blessed with a natural friz can also try out the look. Completely natural and unadulterated.
Because that is what sets the trend look of the curly pony apart: a bit fluffy, optically as if it were almost unhaired. With designers like Coach and Petar Petrov, we could already see untamed, wild ponies in contrast to the smooth curtain bangs of the previous season. And if you want to take the 70s folklore vibes like Taylor Swift to the extreme: wear the curly pony a touch too short.
Coach (Fall/Winter 2020/21)
The nice thing about this look: It's simple and straightforward. Or at least as straightforward as a pony can be. Of course, it also needs to be trimmed and kept in shape. The styling, on the other hand, is very easy. In order to bring out the natural frizz to its full potential, at least the bangs should be air-dried after washing their hair.
If you want to draw all your attention to the curly bangs when styling, you should put your hair in a braid - but don't tie the hair too tightly backward, but rather pull individual strands slightly out of the braid. With open, wavy hair, the trend hairstyle looks harmonious and natural. Playful tops or floral midi dresses (often in a style break with combat boots) look particularly beautiful. The right soundtrack: Taylor Swift's brand new album Evermore. Or her other 2020 album, which delivers the trend look motto: Folklore.
