Asymmetry, flashlight, short rock, long beach return effect, fuzzy bob, tapered bangs, XXL volume, wild ties, and warm shades: discover the 50 hairstyle trends of the season, for a spring-summer 2021 that dares!
If in terms of hairstyle, the fashion shows inspire us, it is sometimes easier to project oneself through the collections of hairdressers. And, this spring-summer 2014, they are easy to interpret: one watchword, freedom! The creations free themselves from constraints, giving way to crimped, wild, voluminous hair, with sometimes asymmetrical cuts, tinged with deep or flashy colors, for a very rock'n'roll look.
CUT SIDE: asymmetry, blurred square, short rock, tapered bangs, and long beach return
Sidecut, we do not hesitate to play the eccentricity, with frankly asymmetrical cuts. The more courageous will opt for marked differences in length; the shyer will prefer side locks, one-shoulder hairstyles, and faux half hawk. The bob, strong in this wind of casualness which blows on hairstyle trends, is worn blurry, wavy, and crumpled lengths, to avoid, at all costs, a look too wise. Likewise, the fringe is not worn full, but tapered, for more lightness. On the length side, short rock cuts (wicks textured with wax and lacquer, near-shaved areas ...) rub shoulders with sharper lengths with a beach return effect, worked with salt spray.
STYLING SIZE: XXL volume and crazy ties
The styling is also wild. The volume is XXL, both on loose hair and for ties. The latter, unlike overly stilted ballerina buns, are wanting in vaporous braids and crumpled material.
COLOR RATING: warm shades and flash
This spring-summer, our hair is adorned with warm, intense reflections, which transform chestnuts into copper, browns into mahogany, and platinum into golden blond. The more daring will fall for more daring shades, blue and pink in the lead, which they will wear in tie and dye or Splashlight style, right in the middle of the lengths.
Asymmetry, already in vogue for several seasons, is one of the major hairstyle trends of this spring-summer. It brings a touch of fantasy as well to long hair (one shoulder, false half hawk with plaited braids...), as to shorter couples (side strand, asymmetrical lengths...).
Great timeless, the square will always be relevant to this spring-summer. A detail that has, however, its importance: for it to be trendy, it must not - especially - be wise. Asymmetries, wavy, wavy, even crumpled lengths ... all fantasies are allowed, provided they break the classic reputation of the bob.
Long hair will also be part of the game. But, like the blurred square, there is no question of working them - at least that is what the hairstyle should suggest. Exit, ultra-smooth lengths, and retro waves, it's the return of the natural wavy, beach return effect. A result that is easily obtained by crumpling the lengths, after using a salt spray.
Big stars of the season, the short cuts are shameless! Crazy locks, eccentric gradients, disheveled neo-bananas, semi-shaved heads ... the rock'n'roll storm is blowing over our heads this spring-summer. The only exception to this eccentric wave, the wisest Twiggy cut, also furiously trendy this season.
This spring-summer, we forget the plated hairstyles, in favor of a volume -really- XXL. The updos are puffed up, the hair is crimped, and the cups at the back of the head loosen hairstyles that are too wise.
Always in a wild spirit, the hair is adorned with colored shades, in the head, pink and blue. Less pastel and franker than the past seasons, these daring colors are found, again, melted on our tips (ombré hairstyle), but also - and this is the great novelty - with the technique of Splashlight. Will this fade in the middle of the lengths overshadow the tie and dye? On the street to decide!
After several seasons where the cold blonde was king, it is the turn of warm shades to regain control. Chestnut tends towards copper, browns towards mahogany, and blondes towards gold.
This spring-summer, the fringe is not worn full but tapered. Less strict, it softens features and is perfect for round faces.
Braids, updos, and neo-bananas are always trendy this season ... provided you break them a bit too wise. The ties are loose, asymmetrical and the material readily crumbled.
