Summer is already coming to an end and to mark the change of season, you probably want to change your mind by opting for new hair color. Take inspiration from the fall 2021 trends to find the one that's right for you.
If brown was the color of previous seasons, blond will undoubtedly become the color for fall 2021. Exit ash blonde and slightly dull blondes, we opt for Californian blondes or very bright beige blondes in order to enhance your natural color. The goal is to bring points of light to the strands that frame your face. Instead of using the sweeping method, which is quite sharp, your best bet is to achieve an ombre hair that will be a little more blurry or a hair contouring, one of the latest trendy coloring techniques.
If you’re dark, you’re spoiled for choice when it comes to finding the perfect shade. Indeed, whether you like warm or cooler undertones, you won't go wrong. Chocolate, mocha, hazelnut highlights are perfect for warming up a brunette and will work wonderfully on people with dark or mixed skin and those who still have their tanned complexion after returning from vacation. On the other hand, the cool, silvery highlights highlight fair skin to perfection.
For several years, red has become more and more present in the colorings requested by the hairdresser. And for good reason, the red can be as discreet as it is flamboyant. If for the fall of 2021 we favor bright reds all over the hair - which were very present during fashion week - you can also embellish your natural color with copper highlights. If you are dark, ask your hairdresser for mahogany or auburn highlights. For blondes, now is the time to turn to Venetian blond.
If you like red undertones, this year you will be served. To bring some color to brown hair, consider cherry or purple undertones. For a rather diffuse and a little more discreet result, wear them in reflections on your natural color. On the other hand, if you want them to be showy, go for a balayage or an ombre hair instead.
You will undoubtedly have understood it, this season, and even until this winter 2021/2022, we favor natural shades and reflections to simply and subtly sublimate its natural color. The best option is to achieve a nice nuanced gradient that spreads over all your lengths. Ombre hair is still in vogue, but be careful to bleach the hair just 1 or 2 shades below your base color. For an equally natural result, or even more, the hair contouring should be tested to simply put points of light in strategic places of your hair. Finally, balayage is not completely out in fall 2021. Whether you are blond or brown, opt for caramel shades that will warm up your color.
