The curls are one of the trademarks of RTL presenter Katja Burkard. All the more astonishing that the 55-year-old now embarked on a change that transformed her entire type. "I was redesigned within a short space of time during the commercial break. Two great colleagues, two straightening irons, tons of hairspray, gels and the vulture knows what else, and zap, I was a different woman," marveled the presenter herself on Instagram. The reactions to her "elicitation" are not long in coming: Katja's colleagues Birgit Schrowange and Angela Braun are enthusiastic, and Barbara Meier and Jochen Schropp are also celebrating the transformation.
