Your shampoo does not have to be fundamentally wrong, since you have mixed hair, it can definitely meet a need of your hair. If you notice your hair is greasy, incorporate a clarifying shampoo into your hair washing routine. Replace it with your regular shampoo about every third wash.
If you have mixed hair, only your ends really need the extra care of a conditioner. The conditioner would only make oily hair roots extra greasy and take away the elasticity of the hair as a whole. So apply the care product after shampooing only from the middle of the hair and use it primarily on the tips. Leave it on for a few minutes and then rinse thoroughly with cold water.
Just like the skin, which produces too much sebum, the scalp also needs cleaning from time to time to free it from excess oils and dead skin cells. Therefore, if you have mixed hair, you should use scalp peeling once a month. Make sure that you really only work on the scalp with the peeling and avoid the rest of the hair so that it doesn't dry out.
