A fresh touch to hair color without damaging it? Wetlights can now help! We'll show you how the hair trend works and why it's so special.
If you like soft accents, you will absolutely love Wetlights! In contrast to conventional highlights, they do not give the hair a completely different look, but rather emphasize the naturalness and radiance - regardless of whether it is for brunettes or blondes. There are no hard contours and conspicuous highlights - instead, the hair gets a soft structure and new shine. And the hyped highlighting technique has another advantage: In contrast to conventional highlights, wetlights can be conjured up into the hair much, much faster. How does it work? Quite simply: the color is not put into dry hair, but into wet hair!

That's right! The hair must be well dampened for this technique. Then we continue with a freehand technique. This means that the strands are tailored to the respective customer and not worked according to a fixed pattern. The effect is most beautiful when the hair is first combed back. This makes it possible for the hairdresser to reach the roots of the hair in the front area so that the result is particularly natural.
The wetlights technique has some advantages over conventional highlighting techniques. Moistening the hair before dyeing ensures that the cuticle opens. This is the outer layer of the hair. This allows the color to penetrate the hair more quickly and therefore has to act for a shorter time. Depending on the condition of the hair, the procedure takes between five and ten minutes. The result is also different than with normal highlights. The color appears much softer, there are significantly fewer edges. This is a clear plus point, especially when growing out!

Of course, you should also take good care of your hair after this gentle highlighting technique in order to maintain the result for as long as possible.
