Do you already know the "PC Club"? This is by no means an association of computer enthusiasts, but an apparently unofficial hairstyle association, whose membership is currently hot among celebrities.
“PC” stands for Pixie Cut - a hairstyle that can be found on more and more famous heads. We were only able to get an idea of this recently at the legendary Met Gala, at which Irina Shayk, Jasmine Tookes, and Joan Smalls strolled the red carpet with the short hairstyle.
Now there is a new member in the “PC Club” who proves that the hairstyle for short hair is perfect for all ages. We are talking about the singer and actress Courtney Love, who as the widow of Kurt Cobain cares about the musical legacy of the cult band Nirvana. The American is now 57 and therefore much older than the said pixie cut wearers at the Met Gala.
But when it comes to the style factor, Courtney Love doesn't have to hide behind her younger hairstyle colleagues. The pixie cut looks incredibly beautiful and looks really great on her.
Best of all: 57-year-old Courtney also seems extremely comfortable with her new, short hair. So she posted a picture with the pixie cut on Instagram and added the word "Liberté" to the post. This comes from French and means "freedom". A feeling that Courtney Love seems to associate with her new trend hairstyle and saying goodbye to her long hair.
It not only proves how awesome the pixie cut looks even at an age beyond 50 but also how versatile it can be styled.
Because Courtney's hair is short but is cut longer, especially on the top of the head, neck, and ears, she can wear the trend hairstyle in a casual messy look (see her Instagram post), but also slightly wavy and elegant style - as the 57-year-old impressively demonstrated at an event during London Fashion Week.
Courtney posted this picture on Instagram with her new pixie cut and received lots of positive comments from her followers
