Curly bangs curl up in silky, shiny curls on the left and right of the forehead.

The British Regency era as inspiration for the curly bangs hairstyle trend

Don't you think so too - the look that designer Yuhan Wang chose for the presentation of her current autumn/winter collection at London Fashion Week was inevitably reminiscent of the hit series "Bridgerton" and the legendary Regency era of Great Britain at the beginning of the 19th century. century. However, the London hairstylist Kota Suizu from Japan was responsible for this romantic hairstyle trend with strikingly short, silky shiny curly bangs.

How-to: How to properly style the curly bangs hairstyle trend in three steps

Step 1:

First, the hair is styled to a high shine and combed into an accurate center parting. If you have medium-length or long hair, tie it in a tight ponytail at the nape of your neck; Chin-length bobs and pixies are combed behind the ear and fixed with some hairspray or hair gel. The prerequisite for the look is (logically!) a fringe – which, however, must not be cut too short so that you can still twist it.

Step 2:

Now comb the bangs to the left and right of the forehead and style side by side. To do this, place the tips of one side around the curling iron with your fingers and twist them in carefully, keeping the curling iron as parallel as possible to the parting. Pause briefly in this position and then slowly release the hair from the curling iron so that a nice curl forms next to the forehead. Twist the other side of the bangs in the same way, then look in the mirror, pull the curly bangs apart on the left and right of the forehead with your fingers and pluck them symmetrically. Tip: Use a heat protectant and (if the hot curling iron feels uncomfortable near the face) work with curlers.

Step 3:

Curl a single strand in front of the ears and the lengths at the back of the braid. Long corkscrew curls would be stylish, but if you like it a little more modern, you can also create large, sweeping Hollywood or beach waves instead. Finally, fix the hairstyle trend with a feather-light, shine-enhancing hairspray.

The official start date of the second season of the Netflix series "Bridgerton" is March 25, 2022.
