Separate the top layer of hair from the bottom. Halve the lower one again and put it around your neck on the right and left.
Open the top layer of hair and tie it in a low braid.
Now knot the lower halves from below around the braid. Wrap the ends around the braid and knot again at the top. Continue until only a short end remains. Then tie this under the braid with a transparent hair tie and hide it.

This ponytail hairstyle also works with short hair. To do this, you mainly work with the upper part and give it a retro flair with a braid braided in the middle. This is raised to a new level with an XL scrunchie.

That's how it's done:

Divide an approx. 5 cm thick section horizontally at the top of the head and tuck away.
Comb the rest of your hair back and tie it in a low braid. Use hairspray to smooth flyaway hair.
Now braid the section at the top of the head down. Fluff up slightly with your fingers to create more volume. Secure the braid over the ponytail with a small hair tie.
Finally, tie a larger hair tie or hair band over the hair ties.
